So … think about joining the fun? Or at least go to the Ye Olde Dragon’s Library page, right here on the website, and listen to an episode or two? It’ll be FUN!

Ever considered being a Patron?

Patrons help with expenses like upload and distribution fees.

Patrons also get goodies! Like, free short stories and the inside scoop on upcoming projects, and samples of works-in-progress.

We have TWO Patreon pages available.

Ye Olde Dragon Books is the Patreon page/group to support what we’re doing here. There are several tiers of membership, depending on how intense you want the goodies! I try to post an update at the end of each month, so you know what’s going on, what’s coming up. There are automatic goodies after a certain amount of time, like mugs and stickers. And I’ll offer free short stories when they are available. Plus you can get hold of print and ebook and audiobook new releases ahead of time and at a discount, if you belong to the right tier.

Ye Olde Dragon’s Library is there to help with the costs for uploading and distributing the podcast. You also get free short stories and a chance to chat, make suggestions, and if there’s enough interest, get the HARDBACK special edition when the current work-in-progress being read to you every week on the podcast goes into print. So, consider supporting us, please?

Just go to Patreon and search for Ye Olde Dragon Books and Ye Olde Dragon’s Library. That easy. We’d appreciate the support. And we could have a lot of fun together …

And here’s a glimpse at the very first freebie. It’s the short story that started the whole crazy, fun, silly adventure of LIARS’ QUEST. This short story was a finalist in the 2022 Realm Awards competition, and first appeared in the When Your Beauty IS the Beast anthology.

Have You Visited the Podcast Yet?

Have you listened to Liars’ Quest, the current story being read on the Ye Olde Dragon’s Library Podcast?

You can listen right here on the website — just click on the tab for the podcast.

Please take a chance. Just under half an hour, once a week.

And if you’d like some inside scoop, or a chance to ask questions, give some feedback, maybe find out about upcoming goodies (i.e., free stories …) please visit Michelle’s blog and chat: www.MichelleLevigne.blogspot.com.

I would love some feedback from you, because this is a work-in-progress, and things could change. I might create new scenes or short stories based on your feedback, and make them available to members of the Patreon group for the Library, first, and then offer them to the people who visit the blog and chat.

So come on over and chat. It’ll be fun!

Then, you can visit Michelle’s blog to ask questions, answer questions you might be asked at the end of the episode, and sometimes get the inside scoop.

Please consider joining the Patreon group for the Library, to support the production of the podcast, plus get exclusive access to free short stories, more inside information, early access to the books when they’re published, and discounts. And if your suggestions are used in the final version of the book, your name will go on the acknowledgements page. How cool is that?

A New (old) Christmas Short Story — Freebie!

Newly loaded today: the next in a series of freebies for subscribers and friends of Ye Olde Dragon Books.

Regularly $1.99 — but free through December 20 in the Storefront.

Crystal Christmas

Sequel to MUSIC IN THE NIGHT, from Guardians of the Time Stream

Christmas approaches, despite illness sweeping through 1880s Cleveland. Carmen, Brogan and the underground community struggle to protect the orphans and destitute who shelter with them, and find ways to celebrate, despite the dangers. Hidden Mountain becomes a haven and a source of miracles, far from the blizzards and dropping temperatures.

Brogan and Carmen help Ransom prepare a special gift for Ess: a crystal ring, and a proposal. Carmen is happy for her childhood friend, but she can’t help wishing Brogan would make a crystal ring for her, too.

Freebie!

I’m hoping to offer several freebies now through the end of the Christmas season.

So … thanks for stopping by! Here’s the first goodie, yours for the downloading. Just go to the storefront and search for the title.

I hope you’ll be back for more!

And remember: Stay tuned for information on Ye Olde Dragon’s Library, the storytelling podcast, starting in January.

From the Tabor Heights small-town, inspirational romance series (which will be refurbished and re-released, in print and audio, starting in 2023!)

A friendly little town on Ohio’s North Coast, where sweet romance is always in the air.

One Small Child: A baby left in the lobby of Homespun Theater and a case of stolen identity give Max, Tony and their friends pause for reflection.

From Turkey to Mistletoe: A nasty prank spurred by office politics throw Jenna and Mitch together. Could their developing friendship become something more, beyond the company walls?

Is there a book you’ve been wanting, or several books, and you’re being careful about your budget?

NOW’s the time to indulge — save $$$ on 1 book — save even more when you buy 2. (Yeah, I know the logic is kind of iffy, how can you save when you’re spending $$ …. but when you average out the cost … Just trust me, okay?)

Let the frenzy of book buying begin!!!

Want to Hear a Story?

Starting in January, I’m going to launch a new venture — a storytelling podcast. Each week, you can listen to me (for FREE!) reading a chapter from a work-in-progress. Then, you’ll have a chance to ask questions and make suggestions and make guesses about what’s going to happen next on my blog: http://www.MichelleLevigne.blogspot.com.

PLUS: If you join the Patreon group I’ll be setting up in December, you’ll have access to exclusive content, such as new bits I’ve thought of thanks to comments in the Patreon group and my blog, changes to scenes, a chance to vote on things such as the names of characters and places and even the title of the book, early access to the print, e, and audiobook versions of the finished book, and limited edition hardback editions, with special extras such as maps.

Right now, I’m working on a book that has quite a few working titles. If you’ve read the short stories about ‘Na, Ambrose, and Fang the bunny in the enchanted forest, appearing in the anthologies, When Your Beauty IS the Beast, Tales from the Tower, and Who’s the Monster? then you’re familiar with the world they live in, and you’ve heard about ‘Na’s parents. This first book starts the adventure of just how Ashlyn and Zared became the Beastly Beauty and the Disenchanted Prince, and how they met Fang the bunny and tamed the enchanted castle.

In fact, that’s one of the first things Patrons will be able to vote on: the TITLE of the first book. I’m wavering back and forth between Taming the Enchanted Castle, The Beastly Beauty, or The Beastly Beauty, the Disenchanted Prince, and Fang the Bunny. Yeah, I know the last one is kind of long….

Anyway!! Stay tuned for updates, and please consider joining the Patreon group to help pay for the expenses of publishing and distributing the podcast which will be available on most podcast platforms, such as iTunes, Spotify, etc.

Hope you’re as excited about this as I am!
